GolfShot
Why use Golfshot?
Golfshot combines GPS yardages, scorekeeping and performance tracking in one easy-to-use app. Because it is Powered by Golf Genius, it can also submit your scores directly into our roll-up competitions.
When you join a roll-up using the supplied GGID, your app is automatically upgraded to Golfshot Pro for that round, even if you normally use the free version.

Before Your First Round
If you're new to Golfshot, it's worth using it for a casual round before your first competition. Most golfers find it very easy to use, particularly with a connected smartwatch.
Both your phone and watch can display GPS distances and allow you to enter your score hole by hole.
Connecting Golfshot to Golf Genius
- Open Golfshot and tap Start Round.
- Select the GGID button in the top-left corner.
- Enter the six-character GGID supplied with your tee sheet notification.
- Your name and playing partners will appear. Select your own name.
- Start your round as normal. Every score you enter is automatically sent to Golf Genius.
During Your Round
- Enter your score after each hole.
- View GPS distances on your phone or smartwatch.
- Swipe to see the live leaderboard as scores are submitted around the course.
- Your scores are uploaded automatically while you play.
After Your Round
When you return to the clubhouse your scores will already be available on the Golf Genius scoring computer.
Simply compare them with your marker's scorecard, make any necessary corrections, and submit your score in the usual way.
Live Leaderboards
The leaderboard looks just like the one you're already familiar with, but now updates in real time as players submit scores from around the course.
Completed rounds are shown alongside live Stableford scores for golfers who are still out on the course.
Using a Smartwatch
The watch app provides quick access to GPS distances and lets you enter your score without taking your phone out of your pocket.
Because of the smaller display, the live leaderboard is only available on the phone app.
